You are buying into a system where professional coaches are physically present during every session you attend, whether that is a 6 AM strength class or a solo Saturday afternoon open-gym lift. Your membership card gets you through the door; our coaches are what get you results. Each tier below grants different levels of class access and personal training time, but floor coaching — live feedback, form checks, programming conversations — is included across all plans. There are no hidden add-ons for basic guidance. We believe that is how a gym should work, and it is why our member retention rate sits well above the industry average.

Can I freeze my membership if I travel or get injured?
Yes. All plans can be frozen for up to 60 days per calendar year at no charge. Longer freezes are available at a reduced holding rate of $15/month. We've had members freeze for surgeries, deployments, and extended work travel — the process takes one email and 24 hours to confirm.
Is there a joining fee or long-term contract?
Foundation and Coached plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract and a one-time $49 enrollment fee that covers your movement assessment with a coach on day one. The Performance plan is billed monthly but requires a 3-month minimum commitment because the individualized program takes time to deliver meaningful results.
What happens during the initial movement assessment?
Every new member spends 45 minutes one-on-one with a coach before their first class. We screen seven basic movement patterns, discuss your training history, and identify two or three mobility or strength priorities to address in your first 12 weeks. This is included in your enrollment fee and is not optional — it protects you and helps us coach you better from day one.
Do you offer student, military, or first-responder discounts?
We offer a $20/month discount on the Foundation and Coached plans for active military, veterans, first responders, and full-time students with valid ID. San Diego has one of the largest military communities in the country, and we want to make quality coaching accessible. Contact us with verification and we'll apply the discount at signup.
Can I bring a guest before joining?
Absolutely. Every prospective member can attend one free orientation session that includes a tour, a short coached workout, and time to talk through membership options without pressure. Book through the Contact page or call the front desk. We run orientations Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.
